Voxeling not creating a true single result

willl appreciate any help anyone might offer. have been enjoying nomad sculpt for several years, sculpting for the fun of it. i seem to have messed up a setting somewhere and am hoping for help. a year or so ago i started having a problem that when i voxel multiple pieces together, the end result doesn’t act like a single mesh. instead when i use move tool on a mesh i have voxeled together it ‘tears’ along the joins. these ‘tears’ can not be smoothed - they act like foreign mesh bits are embedded. if i export that 1 mesh and import it back in, it then acts as a single mesh.the same thing happens with other tools like clay and brush. it seems to happen mostly when i’m several hundred moves deep into the sculpt. if this rings a bell for anyone, could you let me know?

i should have taken a pic, but didn’t - hoping someone knowledgeable might recognize what i’ve got mucked up.

Try clearing your mask? Otherwise post pics or vids of it. Help us help you.

figured it out - i had turned on front facing vertices only in some tools. turned that off and things are working fine again.
