Loss of quality when doing "voxel merge"

Hey man how do you get those straight shapes and edges lines etc? When I use crease/pinch its crooked & half the time even if it comes out right then the surrounding areas are basically out of whack and ruined. I try to use the flat tool but get the same results i was wondering if its maybe a setting or something? Learning the tools wasn’t bad but the settings is all together a different beast imo.

Hello, I use the “Trim” tool to cut pieces with rectangular shapes, also other shapes with “voxel merge”

I’m having a “problem” that I can’t solve.
Every time I open a new primitive cube, by default it comes out with 1.50 million polygons.
What have I touched so that the cubes always open with this size? (with the other primitives this does not happen)

Just check in the topology menu.

I have already done it I have touched all the parameters and it keeps happening …

No matter how much you modify the parameters return to the same state.

when I open a primitive cube with the option “only” activated there is no problem, the problem is when I do it with the option “only” deactivated

You can make a video because I don’t understand.
(Or else I need a exact step-by-step way to replicate the issue, for now I can’t repro the bug)

When I open a cube it appears directly with 1.50 million polygons but if I hit ‘undo’ it returns to 6k polygons. If I open it with the ‘only’ mode activated it appears with 6k polygons.
you have to look at the stats

The numerical changes of topological grid options are mainly based on 2. Can we use 1 as the main one? For example, I want to choose 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50, so that the following 0 can change from 0 to 9. Because sometimes I need to choose singular grid to calculate the number of faces of the model for low polymer molding.
