How would I sculpt a helmet like this?

I’m trying to model this helmet for practice.

I’m just wondering how I would approach hard surface modelling like this? I can’t see any options to select faces+extrude in nomad.

Nomad is not a poly modelling software, so no extrude function (although there is a workaround which achieves the same result). But you could still make this using other techniques. Explore the extract shell function for the overall helmet; probably use trim tool to create the details and cutouts; use tube tool for horns. Then probably Boolean all the bits together at the end (or voxel merge at very high resolution if you want smoother transitions between the different elements.)
