Guide lines with a snap feature

It would be very useful to be able to have some kind of snap feature to that would constrain movement to guidelines and a way to drag guidelines from the edges as in most drawing programs. The guidelines can stay perpendicular to whatever axis you pull from and have some snap distance component. I think this would be very in aligning stamps and drawing masks.

Snapping to grid and adjustable grids for all views and a stroke menu with all SelMask tool functions for any Tool.
This would make designing in Nomad so much more easy.
Guidelines are not that common in 3D world, but why not?
