I really have fun modeling and everything was working fine last time I used it a couple of months ago.
But yesterday I tried to export a model then it crashed. I thought it was peculiar so I tried again and it crashed again. I then tried to export just the image but it crashed again. Anyhow I tried to export it it continued to crash. I even uninstall / reinstalled the app but it keeps crashing.
I am on a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with Android version 13
That’s frustrating for sure. This might not help but maybe saving the project as a new file might do the trick. Or try to export it as a different type from what you were trying that was crashing the app. Maybe try decimating the model some in case it’s too large of a file for your tablet to handle the export?? I dunno, just throwing ideas out there.
Hi MTK426, I appreciate your input and your desire to help, but I tried all formats (PNG, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY Nomad) and even with a brand new model (just a sphere) it still crashes…
Most likely due to device memory. How many polygons is your model? Did you decimate before trying to export?
Also, make sure no other programs/apps are running in the background.
I thank you for taking your time trying to help me but unfortunately it’s not that for sure. With just Nomad Sculpt running, even by only trying to export the PNG of a simple basic sphere, it crashes.
And as I said, everything was working just fine a few months ago, exporting the OBJ of pretty complex models.
