App does not iniciate

I am having this issue since yesterday, I have an Samsung Galaxy A35 with Android 14, 8 GB RAM, the app was going well but suddenly won’t open anymore, and appears the message that is showed in the image. I updated the OS, Uninstalled, cleaned the phone, released ram, deleted the .json files and projects and the problem still continues. I installed the app in other Phone (Samsung a71) and works normally… Can someone help me?

PD: sorry for my bad english, I’m from Brazil.

I’m investigating, there are some issues with some Android devices.

Did you ever change the main Nomad folder (about menu).

No, i didn’t, i tried at other phone but something about privacy does not let me change the directory, i will investigate about that later…
I appreciate the beta test, i was thinking on ask you a previous version to make some testing

Ok, you can forget about the privacy/folder thing, it’s an Android thing.

I added you to an internal test, but honestly I have no idea what the issue is, I tried to change a few things nevertheless.

So far all the crashes are coming from brazilian users, but I can’t see the logic yet.

The same thing happened to me, but I’m from Portugal.
I have a Tab S9 FE, and what I found strange is that it wouldn’t even let me access the website while the app was installed. It did exactly the same thing—tried to launch and then closed the site.

Oh that’s an unrelated issue, adding you on the internal test.
I’m starting to think maybe an issue with Portuguese language on the device?

I changed the language to English but keeps crashing at opening… there is a way to send you a log or something?

The app stopped working for me as well(Galaxy Tab S9FE+), I’m from Brazil too, however the language on my app it’s set to English.

  • did you change the device language or just nomad language in the Android setting?
  • If you set Portuguese inside nomad (about menu). Is it working fine afterwards?

My device is a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+

when I tried to open the app, it just closed immediately, if I insisted it would warn me that there was a “bug” and I should wait for the developers to update the app

So, after seeing this topic, I tried to change the device language, the default was Portuguese (Brazil) and I changed it to English (USA)

After entering the app also tried to change the language within it to Portuguese, but it closes. Reopening it is in English again. Apparently I can only use it that way

Yep same here, just changed the device language for English and the app started working again.
