Hello,
I was able to apply an image onto an object, but I would like to only see the image and have the object set to transparent. Is there way to do this? I’ve tried to go to the materials tab but the transparency bring both the image and object down to zero. Thanks in advance.
How did you apply the image ? As vertex color - like a stamp OR as a texture ? There is material / texture opacity and on the other hand there is vertex color opacity…
Def. Not as a stamp. Couldn’t get that to work yet. So I believe as a texture with paint tool icon. I changed the opacity on the texture to zero so it brings everything to zero. Been looking around for vertex color opacity for about an hour but all I seem to get is object opacity changes with the image as well.
Side question. Is there any way I can just bring in the image and use that as an object or do I always have to “paint” the image onto said box or plane or whatever object?
hey I think I found your channel on YT. Has the same avatar so I guess it is. Explains what I was looking for. Wow 3 days of cracking my skull explained in three minutes. Included addtnl info about size that image size that I could also not find. Thx
