Texture painting over imported UV mapped models

Would it be possible to add functionality where an artist can import UV mapped model (glTF or FBX) and some textures (perhaps AO texture to serve as base layer to paint over or under, as overlay), and paint over the model in Nomad with brushes/textures as they would in Procreate or 3D Coat or even Blender ?

Layers support / blend modes, masks and export final art as either multilayered TIFF or as PSD would be crucial part of this feature.
