Greetings Everyone,

I’ve put together a mini pack of matcaps.

This was done as part of a personal experiment and I just wanted to share it with you all and hopefully you find them to be useful!

(In V1.15) There are 8 main matcaps, each with two variants, so 16 matcaps in total.

I’m including 2 zip files here, one has the matcaps at the resolution 2048x2048 and the other is at 512x512. As of posting this, Nomad does not support more than 512x512 and will scale it down to meet it’s needs so I recommend using the file that’s specifically marked for Nomad. I’m including the high resolution variant just in case someone wants it.

V1.1: I’ve made some slight adjustments to the color temperatures in the darker matcaps.

V1.1.5 Update: I’ve included the original two base matcaps that I had adjusted from V1.0 as I still like them, removing the download links for V1.1 and V1.0 as they’re combined in V1.1.5.

V1.2: I have a minor update, just an addition of a gray matcap pair. This should be more ideal for actual sculpting.
