This is probably a bit difficult to explain, but I’ll give it a try: When I mask something with SelMask, is there a way to mask only what I see…sort of like masking it manually?
The problem with this method is that the reverse side is also masked.

I don’t believe so. I think you can only mask all the way through. But you can selectively mask an area then turn and selectively unmask parts you don’t want.
Yes, I already knew this workaround. But it is really tedious with complex models. Since it is also possible to mask only the vidible area in manual mode, should this also be possible for SelMask?
In the Stoke menu, try Front Facing Vertex Only. Maybe this will get the results you’re wanting.
