Rendering Additive inside of reflective

Strange rendering when an additive object is inside a reflective one. The flame is inside of the cylinder with a hole and is additive. It renders behind it. Works fine when the flame is opaque

I might be wrong but I don’t think it’s a bug. It’s probably more of a limitation with the way transparency is done.

You can fake the flame by duplicating the flame object and have it set as opaque so that it will appear behind the glass.

Thanks! That worked!

Indeed it’s a limitation, maybe I’ll improve but there’ll always be limitation concerning transparency.

Is there any plan on adding more rendering options for caustics?

Honestly for caustics probably not.
