im looking to keep my vertex colors while i transport my decimated model into blender, create a uv map for it in there but im having a hard time doing so? my model is really high poly, im just looking to extract the texture from the high poly to bake onto the lowpoly.
Import high resolution, vertex painted model into blender. Change material in blender to show vertex colours, UV unwrap in blender & bake vertex to texture.
The nomad sculpt is a fantastic tool for learning about sculpture, but ZBrush and Blender offer so many more capabilities that you will ultimately want to include them in your toolbox.
