Palm detection

Interestingly, I found that if im using my iPad Pro (3rd gen 11" /M1) with it on the magic keyboard, or if the tablet itself is rested fully on or against a hard surface, I get minor palm detection issues - but if im holding it like a tablet, perhaps balancing it on my knee or something when I sculpt - there’s no issues whatsoever, nothing, it works so reliably I was astound by the difference.

I also believe that the behavior has worsened, it happens much more often that an unintended undo function is executed. But where the problem lies is a good question.

Original issue was unexpected undo.
Did you guys checked the web assembly with the undo fix?
Is it solved?
Or have you tried the “use size rejection” slider in actual version to see if this is solving any issues?

Just to mention. This thread is quite long already

Yeah, especially since no one read what I’m writing.

I have read what you have written and you are right. it’s not a nomad issue it’s an iPad issue.

It can’t be tested because the stylus is not recognized as a stylus in the web demo.
Could be a browser limitation or emscripten/Nomad, not sure about it.

I just wonder - non of left shortcuts like mask or smooth aren’t working anymore in webassambly. Does this belongs to the issue?

Browser limitation, it cannot handle pencil and finger at the same time.
If you only use finger it should work.
It was always like that.
