No Pressure sensitivity on PC with a Wacom Cintiq

maybe I have to activate a particular option?

the pressure sensitivity works in any other software.

on my iPad it automatically works by default

Top left nomad icon, maybe try to toggle wintab option.

thanks for the suggestion.

that did something. now a different pressure of the pen makes the brush smaller or larger. but the intensity remains the same, which is what I’d want to change by changing pressure.

do you have any idea how to do that?

Check the pressure menu and verify that intensity is enabled?

found it. both radius and intesity are active. if i disable radius, it goes back to stay fixed, if I disable intensity nothing changes from when it’s active

So it impacts radius but not intensity…?

Also what is the wintab value?

so this is the situation:

I disabled wintab in nomad sculpt and kept windows ink in the wacom utility.

I can see the radius changes with the pressure I apply, but not the intensity of the stroke.

in nomad sculpt, if I disable the radius under the pressure menu or change the curve, I can see the effects on the radius of the stroke.

any change I set to the intensity under the same pressure menu, do nothing.

that’s the same if I disable windows ink and enable wintab.

it seems like nomad sculpt sees the pressure changes that my cintiq sends to it, but it only applies them to the radius and not to the intensity of the brush stroke.

I had someone on a FB group tell me that it’s a known issue, but no further info and I honestly haven’t found anything regarding this problem searching with google.

You are using the latest version?
Which tool are you using?

Honestly I don’t know, it seems to work for most people.

And something doesn’t make sense, either pressure is supported or not.
It cannot work with radius but not intensity (I’m assuming the curve is the same).

Nope.
