Basically the title! - Pressure broken on Beta Nomad 2.3.26 (Beta Nomad 2.3.25 working)

I upgraded from Beta 25 to Beta 26, and realized pressure sensitivity stopped working.
At first I didn’t know the cause, so I tried enabling/disabling windows ink as well as trying all wintab options in Nomad (on/off/auto) restarting nomad in-between as well as restarting pc.
Reverting back to Beta 25 fixed it again!

I also couldn’t find changelogs of each specific Beta version, so I don’t know if any changes were being made for pressure stuff specifically.

I am using a Huion Kamvas Pro 24"
Windows 11 24H2

Does pressure work in blender?
On 25 can you tell me which combinaison worked? (With/without wintab vs with/without windows ink)

Yes pressure works in everything else, Photoshop, Blender, ZBrush etc.

In both Beta 25 and 26:
Wintab = ON
WindowsInk = Disabled

With this exact same setup pressure works in 25, and not in 26.

Is it the only combination that works in 25?

I’ll add the .27 soon. Since I don’t have any tablets in the world it’s tricky to make everything works without breaking others tablets, but I think I know the issue, I’ll tell you when it’s live.

Windows Ink ON with wintab off also works.

But I need to keep Windows Ink off generally, although if need be we can usually choose if windows ink is on/off depending on the program active.

It’s also very hard to explain, but usually windows Ink makes my huion tablet stutter SLIGHTLY at the start of each stroke, so having WinTab = ON with WinInk = OFF would be ideal.

I will test Beta 27 as soon as it releases and let you know :smiley:

Wait only on 25 or 26 as well?

Because I did modify some stuffs in 26 but only for the wintab ON use case.

Actually I lied, for some reason that does work now. (WinInk ON + WinTab OFF)

Although as I’ve said before, WinInk doesn’t work as great (Not a Nomad issue though I think)

Ok that re-assures me, I was confused.
Maybe it has to do with the initial wintab value at startup (should be off maybe).

That I cannot answer for you I think hahaha.
Do you think the Beta 25 functionality for WinTab will work again in 27?
I will give it a try either way though. Thanks for the updates!

Beta 27 is live, you can if it works.

I will test more tomorrow as it’s late for me, if anything comes up I will let you know!
