Poor pressure response, using a Wacom Cintique pro 13 inch

THE PLATFORM: Windows
NOMAD APP VERSION: 2.9.8

Equipment: Wacom Cintique Pro 13 inch

I have been using Nomad on my Android tablet since 2022 and I love it, I was very exited to see it move to PC. I hope there will be a version for Linux at some point too.

There is a big difference between pressure response on both systems. The Android tablet is very natural and intuitive, it just works. On the PC with my graphics tablet the pressure barely registers. I have had a play around in the settings and spent a long time doing it.

I had to turn off pressure intensity to make a real difference. But even then its just weak. The mouse gets the most response. With the Wacom tablet I have to have the pressure settings dialed all the way up to get any response and even then the imprint is very small and no matter how hard you press, the imprint will never reach the full size of the brush.

The Inflate tool is the worst offender because I frequently drag parts of the mesh out, turn on Dynamic Topology and then inflate the new part ready for adding extra detail. Its like expanding clay and I love it. Thats how it works on Android but on my desktop I just get stuck with a few extended polygons and the Inflate tool just does not really do anything even with the pressure settings all the way to 100, pressing very hard on the tablet. It does not really inflate anything, its more like an extra brush tool as the small things I try and expand just get expanded on one side, distorting that part of the mesh.

I have to use the mouse to inflate whatever it is that needs inflating but then this is pointless as you have no controll. I cannnot imagin anyone here is sculpting with a mouse unless you are a kid that does not have a tablet in which case see if you can your ask your parents for a graphic tablet because mouse sculpting is arse and very bad for your hand and shoulders.

You seem the only one to experience such issues.
Did you try toggling the wintab settings? (nomad menu, top left icon).

Oh.I had no idea that was there! I never looked over there I was not expecting anything there as there is not on the Android. Why was it there and not under the pressure tab?

The pressure seems more responsive, still a bit of a wierd issue with the inflate, but maybe thts just how it is on the PC? But I think I have found a work around, I had to play with the fall off curve for the brush, it seems to be ok now.
