Need help with a object turning see through after voxel merge

Working on a art toy sculpt and never ran into this issue. I was using voxel merge to key a part and noticed it changed colors from the normal white of the rest of my model. Didn’t think anything of it till I exported it and tried to slice it and it is like a odd hollow shell of the piece. Is there a way to fix this without having to sculpt again? Other pieces I keyed did not have this issue .
