Mirroring unedited primitive not working

Hello!

I can’t mirror a validated primitive but it will only work after any edit to to the form.

For ex, after adding a sphere to the scene, I validate it and move it off world center to the left . Symmetry is turned on to world. I then go to scene → add → mirror and expect it to mirror on the right. It does not.

However, I take that same sphere on the left and do any type of editing to it, just lightly graze it with the clay tool or move tool etc , and then repeat the above process, it will then mirror on the right as expected.

Any ideas what may be happening ?

There is a checkbox in the primitive menu: on GIZMO - check this setting…
