Hello All, I’m adding a textured metal surface to a model, and when applying the texture I’m getting a portion of it as a low poly count appearance, when most of the model is fine and looks correct. I believe it has something to do with the UV wrap, but I have no clue how to correct it. I’ve included an image of what I’m referring to. Any help would be much appreciated.
I would say check the mesh density of the UVs in that area.
How do I do that? I’m new to this type of modeling.

It’s a good explanation of UV concepts but nomad doesn’t have any firm methods for controlling UV unwraps - upcoming polygroups will help immensely.
