Hello, i’m new to Nomad, and coming from years of sculpting on blender and zbrush, so I’m still learning the basics of this. Considering that I am right handed, I think it would be better if the brushes menu stayed on the left side of the screen because my hand is busy sculpting. I don’t mean mirroring the side, menus places, I mean, just putting the brushes menu on the left side somehow would make my sculpting speed a lot faster. When I’m sculpting on zbrush or blender, I don’t have to move my pen away from the object many times for changing brushes when sculpting so I expect something like that could be done on Nomad.
Interface settings - mirror side bar
This mirrors both left and right bars… I liked the left bar where it was. I wanted my right hand to be always holding the pen on top of the sculpture and my left hand for changing the brushes, brush radius, intensity etc. So I guess I wanted both bars to be on the left side somehow.
You can actually change the radius / intensity with the 3-finger gesture …
I don’t think there will ever be a way to have both menus on one side.
I guess if you use ZBrush or Blender, you use key bindings - why don’t you use them for Nomad as well ?
Thanks! Also, is there a way to expand the brushes menu so I can see most of the brushes without needing to roll down the side bar? This would increase my sculpt speed. I do plan on using a keyboard at some moments but would love to be as proficient as possible with just the tablet and pen.
Hello Steve, I’ve been trying for a while to increase the number of columns for the brushes like you pointed out, but for some reason the second column does not appear. I have searched to see if could find a solution to this, but I couldn’t find anywhere. (By the the of rows wont show up in interface menu ).
Nevermind. I already found the brushes menu with the number of that I specified on settings.
