Zbrushy shortcuts in nomad

What I like in zbrush’s port is the ability to execute certain fundamental commands without having to open windows to do so.

E.g.,
resizing the brush with two fingers tap + up/down
the intensity with two fingers tap + left/right
Retopologize with ctrl + mouse rectangle gesture

Make the whole user experience a bit more intuitive and less complicated.

Also the fact that main workflows like voxel remesh, dynotopo, remesher (also in such order) being available one after the other (as logically one would access) in the toolbar below, makes everything less clattered.

Nomad right now at the bottom bar (which user may access already with his thumb while still being able to just rotate and control smooth/invert/mask easily) may include voxel mesh but not any other.
User has to move his thump outside of that bottom corner and go to the top bar to access the rest and even so the case, quad remesher is not even there. User has to go to the toolbar instead on the opposite side…

All this makes the user experience a bit clunkier in comparison to what zbrush for iPad has.

Any chance to reconsider and streamline a bit the user interface in this regard?

You might want to read the manual.

Stuffs like quadremesh will stay as tool (it needs its own context since you can draw guide and density).

I will not redesign the UI, but at some point there’ll be some kind of customizable menu with all the key bindings exposed (the one present in the bindings menu).

I don’t know yet how this menu should be presented though (draggable/resizable window, etc).
I might also add more custom option to the bottom bar (maybe all of the bindings).

I get that quad remesher is a tool and icon exists there.
Still in user’s workflow, this is a bit irrelevant. User wants to simplify the mesh as a part of the rest workflow (multi res, voxel, dyntopo etc). Having to remember that this is an exception and having to go elsewhere to access is a disruption to workflow (reason why zbrush has them side by side)

What i believe is currently missing is a one click unified area where user may trigger tools and functions with ease and without having to open menus from different locations to get the job done as is with nomadsculpt the case now.

I wish this is feasible and really consider such options

Waiting for your magic spell
