Importing into different software results in unit errors

THE PLATFORM: Windows
NOMAD APP VERSION: 2.9.8

First, I conducted repeated tests. When exporting FBX files from Nomad, 3ds Max converts Nomad’s meters to millimeters. However, for OBJ format, no conversion occurs and 1 meter directly becomes 1 millimeter. When importing into ZBrush, both FBX and OBJ formats treat 1 meter directly as 1 millimeter.

It’s quite common to import and export files directly between different software applications during work. This is a matter that requires close attention.

Fbx exporter is going to change on next update.

And millimeter are not a thing in file formats such as fbx or obj.

I don’t quite understand the statement that "millimeters are not a thing in file formats such as FBX or OBJ."Nomad’s default unit is meters. Could you add a selectable option for millimeters or meters so we can choose by ourselves?

There is no such thing at meter or millimeter in Nomad… as answered correctly there Can the unit be changed to millimeters?

It’s a topic that comes up regularly but it’s non sense to speak about real unit for generalist 3d software. You choose your own unit.
