How do i mirror objects around another object that is not centered on the world

I am trying to make a model with multiple characters. One character is centered in the world and was simple enough to mirror and sculpt. Now i want to make another character, but it will be to the right of the first one. I can add a primitive to start modeling and move it to where i want, but now how do i add a mirror around that object to add more parts to it?

Go to the symmetry menu and choose Local.

That works for the object i moved and i can use brushes on it with symmetry, but how do i make new objects mirror around that object. Like if i make a body off center and want to add arms, i need them mirrored on the body, not the world center.

Select the object you want as center - with active gizmo tool.
Then ADD Repeater / Mirror Node - make sure that checkbox ON GIZMO is active.

Thank you! Thats what i needed. I also had to re align the gizmo for some reason because it wasnt facing the front of the object for some reason. Had to go to pivot and reset to center.
