Hello, Maybe i’am wrong: if i mask a segment on a very lowpoly cube and invert the selection to unmask it, the gizmo stay center on the object but not on the selection anymore (automaticaly on 1.65 ). i tried to change the different mode ( vertex/object/auto). i can place the gizmo manualy but without the precision than the 1.65 version. Anyway great and amazing software, good job!!!
I mean ,i ,am looking for the “Local center gizmo”, does it exist anymore ?
It doesn’t exist anymore indeed.
For now you can select « pivot » and tap on the surface and it will move the gizmo.
In the future I’ll probably add another reset button (or simply cycling between several reset position).
I had the same question about not being able to center the gizmo on unmasked vertices. This is a major blow to my character modeling as it made it very easy to create mouth pockets, eye sockets or conversely pull out shapes with a lot of control using both the move and scaling power of the gizmo. This is default behavior in Zbrush. I can’t fathom why remove it. Is there a way to revert back to the previous version? Thanks.
ok thank you for the answer, i hope it will be back one day , because it was really usefull.
This is a problem for me too, make it very hard to model or pose a character
Me too, really useful and quick to control
