Bug reports: Still fairly new to Nomad, I recently updated my iPad & when I opened Nomad (V2.1) all my saved files look… different: different sections of a model are different colors, the resolution is off on all and something called a quad remesher (that I’ve never seen before) wants $19.99.(?) I did not update Nomad, just the iPad; haven’t touched my files but now they are all affected. What to do? Thanks
Maybe show a screenshot of what’s wrong.
And check in the “multiresolution” menu that you are on the highest level.
There is no know issue, otherwise I would have been swarmed with bug reports.
The new tool has been added a year ago so I’m not sure how old your previous version was.
Thanks for the quick reply. The issue is in all files. So, would I have to check the multi res in each one?
Image 1: before (with grid) BTW I fixed his back legs
Image 2: now. (no grid) There is some degree of this in each file. And I can’t figure out how to fix the whole program or each file individually
other image: what is quad mesher?
There are other oddities that make me feel like I have to take a beginners tutorial all over again to use Nomad.
FYI- The iPad Air 13" is new-ish,. I’ve had Nomad for a almost a year, and it worked well enough on my older generation iPad.
Should I delete Nomad and re-upload? If I do that, would I lose the files?
Thanks,
C.
PS: As a new user, I can only upload 1 image at a time,
You have smooth shading disabled. Gear menu in the top right, turn on smooth shading.
There’s lots of info out there on this, here’s a reference in the manual, and a video overview on youtube.
NEVER DELETE. It’s standard behavior on ios that when you delete an app, it will delete all the associated files.
Whelp, that worked. Thanks for your time!
