Every time I remesh an open model this happens

Is there anyway to stop this from happening while remeshing?

Because your model is not closed

Is there a way to make it so it doesn’t do that?

Is there a way to fix that?

You could use quad remesher or if you dont have that

The remesher in dyntopo @ bottom should work i think

If you already made the remesh permanent and saved it for some reason, you can try use the facegroup function to separate out the funky part then use hide&delete tools for it. Its a bit complicated uh
