I own a chromebook(Dell Inspiron 14" 2-in-1 Chromebook), using an intel CPU(i3 8th gen), and importing any file crash the app. Using my phone(LG G8 ThinQ) the file I tried importing on my chromebook worked there. Not sure what else I can give as information to help you.
Oh that’s bad
What was the format you tried to import? The size?
Until then you can drop the file in the nomad projects folder and restart the, it should work.
It should be in Android/data/com.stephaneginier.nomad/files/
Format was .glb @ ~43Mb I also tried a .obj @ ~2Mb but didn’t work. Tried importing a image reference and had a crash too. The “hackish” solution you mentioned seems to have worked out tho. So at least there’s a way to do it, bit more involved obviously but does work.
Thanks.
Such a pain to develop on Android…
There’s probably something different with the way Chromebook files work but I don’t know what.
I’ll need to investigate but if the only solution for me to test is to buy a chromebook, it might take some time.
