I have lost many hours again to understand how to create bookmarks in Nomad.
I read that is NOT possible but actually is possible.
Read carefully ![]()
1- Where the ball with colors for the orthographic views is, you have a small LOCK icon. Press that lock icon first!
Bring your model and image reference closer to you.
and position it properly your model to match your reference image.
Once you have
2- Now press the lock icon again to unlink the image reference with your model. The lock icon locks/link your model and the image.
3- Position your model according to your image.
4- Now create a NEW camera.
5- When you create a new camera you will get an new small window. Completely centered on your screen.
6- Make sure the the LOCK icon is not active. It must be off!
7- Now on the centered small window you will find the update button. PRESS UPDATE.
8- Then PRESS the LOCK icon again! VERY IMPORTANT STEP!!!
9- On your camera window there is a button “SNAP VIEW” and if you have your lock icon turn ON. Nothing will happen. NO WORRIES!!!
If you DO NOT have the lock icon ON and it is OFF then your model will rotate.
NO WORRIES! DO NOT PANIC! As I did! LOL!
10- If you see that your model rotates pres AGAIN the “SNAP VIEW” button. This will rotate again your model on place.
11- NOW …
11.1 If you have pressed correctly you LOCK icon then you are done.
11.2 If you forgot to press and turn ON the LOCK then RUN and press the LOCK icon. After that RE-press again the “SNAP VIEW”.
12- You are done.
CONGRATULATIONS you have done your first CAMERA BOOKMARK in Nomad!
Then start to sculpt. Remember to press the LOCK icon to rotate and zoom your model without the image reference. At this point, you can turn off your reference image.

And yes this can be done in perspective too.
