i was wondering if there is a possibility to avoid that two smaller but close objects merge together?
It happens to me quite often that the fingers of a figure melt together during remeshing.

It happens to me quite often that the fingers of a figure melt together during remeshing.
Things like that are most likely the result of not enough geometry.
So a higher mesh may prevent that, but the obvious cost is memory
You could try to split the hands and voxel at higher resolution and after join again.
