Alternative Primitive Topology

I’ve been re-exploring hard surface modeling techniques with Nomad. I’d love to create a cylinder with 8 sides, but only 4 edges converging at the center. This is my typical workflow in Maya, as I get clean quads from the start, and it subdivides nicely. Currently in Nomad, I notice that I can’t get an 8-sided cylinder. 6-sided is not optimal in my opinion, because of the topology on the caps. Can we get an option for 8-sided with the desired (see attached image, objects selected/white and green) endcaps?
