Thanks DarrenMcNaney. He’s from the film Cocoon. Great film!
Originally started in SculptGL and updated in Nomad. Based on Leonardo Viti’s Baby Jabba. I wanted to add a few more older details on this one. Still thinking about his resting area.
A work in progress based on a clay concept of George the Gremlin created for Gremlins 2. I spent just over an hour in SculptgGL and have continued it in Nomad.
these are great Adam. Really fun sculpts… the baby Jabba cracks me up
Thanks DaveK.
Adam, you’re so talent, with my respect, sheeeeesh
Without any dude, you’re great and your work is very impressive!!!
Very impressive, I love it!
Nice usage of postprocess/lighting features
Thank you The_LF.
Thanks jcontanaya.
Thanks Stéphane. Something trivial but would be useful to have an option for certain objects not to receive cast shadows.
Also emission per object so you can create a cube and have it as a fake glowing light.
Adam, what’s your instagram name, i wanna ask something!
I don’t have Instagram. I don’t do social media. There’s a message system on this forum. Tap on the users logo to find message.
cast shadows
Yeah I’ll add a new menu for mesh material stuff, where you can specify things like flat shading, backface display, cast/receive shadows, etc…
The mesh opacity options will be in this menu (right now it’s at the bottom of the shading menu which is a bit weird).
emissive
See the part on painted channel Paint light / Bloom - #14 by stephomi
So, it will probably come but later (it won’t light the scene though, but glowing surface will be easier to achieve along with bloom)
Fantastic!
Emissive without lighting the scene is still a great addition.
Will work on this scene more. But this is the betrayal scene. Yes that’s meant to be a red lightsaber. Will try and fake the glow.
Didn’t expected that kind of scene but it does suit for the expression
Well after following what’s happened at Lucasfilm and what George Lucas has said about being betrayed, I thought of this scene.
