Trim bug (file included)

Platform: iPad
NOMAD APP VERSION: 2.8

I was using the trim tool to carve silhouettes and ran across a weird bug where the mesh mostly disappears, instead of following the Bézier curves.

Attempted workarounds (failed)
Cloning the object
Close holes & make manifold
Remesh (voxel)
Changing projection angle
Changing the Bézier curves
Turning off flip did produce the correct results, if that info is useful

I’m including the file in hopes that it will help find the bug.
The file
To reproduce the bug with the file simply activate the trim tool with flip enabled, and using Bézier, and confirm once you’re happy with the shape.
