Hello,
I’ve been experiencing several issues with Nomad Sculpt since updating to version 2.9.32 on my iPad Pro (M2).
1. Black screen and app unable to launch
When I try to open one of my larger projects (a character model with approximately 15 million vertices), the screen sometimes turns completely black.
After this happens, Nomad Sculpt may no longer launch properly, even after restarting the app.
I found a temporary workaround by renaming settings.json in the Nomad folder using the iPad Files app. This allows Nomad Sculpt to launch again, but the problem has occurred multiple times.
Each time I reset the settings this way, I also have to configure my preferences again.
2. Reduced available memory
Before the update, Nomad Sculpt displayed a memory limit of approximately 7.78 GB.
After the update, it sometimes displays only around 3.2–3.4 GB, even on the same device.
3. Small black dots appearing in the viewport
I’ve also noticed small black dots appearing around my 3D model, including in empty areas of the viewport. I’m not sure whether this is related to the other issues.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing these dots.
These problems make it difficult to work confidently with large projects, especially since I am worried about losing access to my work.
Is this a known issue with version 2.9.32? Are there any recommended fixes or workarounds?
Thank you for your help!
