I just installed latest update of Nomad Sculpt 2.3 and the app just quits on launch. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalled but issue persists. Please advise.
My iPad Pro is a 12.9 1st generation with ipad os 16. App worked without issue before this update.
Let me know if i can provide any other details to help.
Thanks.
Argh you should never uninstall as iOS will delete everything in the Nomad main folder.
Unless you used a custom folder.
Estou com o mesmo problema meu iPad 2017 e iOS 17.710 não roda mais o Nomand depois da atualização para 2.3
I already had a backup of my projects before uninstalling. After reinstall, there is no Files app Nomad Sculpt folder because the app just quits when I tap the app icon.
Please advise how to get the app back up and running or is this a problem on the app store package that is sent via update.
Glad I am not the only one facing the issue.
Ok the common denominator is older iPad so I think I know the issue.
I added you to the TestFlight to see if the crash is gone (can’t replicate on my ipads as they are too recent).

Hi,
just installed the TestFlight build and it crashes on startup just like the store version. Sent a report from my iPad.
The 2.4 version is still under review, usually it’s fast.

Ok will check back tomorrow morning and see if 2.4 is available on test flight.
Will report back as soon as possible.
Thanks and good night.
2.4 still under review.
(Week end, I asked for an expedited review)
Literally bought this hot garbage iPad cause everything I read said it was the best thing to run Nomad. Finally get it yesterday and find out the pencil I got doesn’t work cause a gen 7 requires a gen 1 pencil for some reason. Go to install nomad to find out I have to pay $20 for it even though I have a license seat available and unused. And now the app crashes the second I open it.
It’s written explicitly that Nomad is a separate purchase on iOS, https://nomadsculpt.com/
Nomad currently crash on A9/A10 processors. It’s the 2015-2017 generation, it’s a pretty small subset of the ipads currently used. But it will get fixed soon.
I just checked my receipt to be sure but mine was sold to me as a 2019.
Yes, the iPad 7th gen has an A10 so it’s impacted as well.
Impacted models:
iPad Air 2 (2014)
iPad Mini 4 (2015)
iPad Pro (1st gen) (2015)
iPad (7th gen) (2019)
The update is under review.
So I installed version 2.4 from test flight and it fixed my crashing! Thanks a lot Stéphane.
Can’t wait for this rectified version to appear in official store.

2.4 version is mentioned? I Don’t see it in the App Store still 2.3 for me
It was a TestFlight build to validate my fix.
The 2.4 release is under review by Apple, should be soon.
Edit: 2.4 should be live

Quero aqui agradecer a equipe de programadores da Nomand que gentilmente nos ajudou com o bugs da versão 2.3 que na 2.4 foi corrigido e agora volta à normalidade tudo funcionando, um grande abraço a todos

Is there any word on when the new update will hit. Mine is doing the same thing. I just bought a newer iPad to solve some of my issues but don’t want to install unless it’s functional.
