Before today, you could click the stamp tool and then click the paint ball and add an alpha and if you turned the intensity down to 0 you could paint the image onto a plane or an object. I can no longer do that. It only allows you to add a texture alpha

Yeah, I figured it out. Its location changed. There are now little check boxes near the roughness metalness, etc
Seems like they have given you the option to have different alphas for color, metalness roughness
