Sketch-Tool for quick sculpts and writing

Hi,

in Nomad Sculpt you can sculpt (almost) everything. But sometimes it feels like a workaround to get a specific result. Please look the picture introducing a tool that could shortcut some workfows.

Can you paste the information in a reply, using normal text like in this post?

Your concept paper is nice looking, but not fun to read or pull information from (takes too much time deciphering when compared to plain text).

Support the initial idea - Several Vr programs like Openbrush and Sculptrvr have the equivalent of a sketch tool that allows the user to freely draw in 3d space making them amazing at quickly iterating on ideas.

TOOL-DESCRIPTION

Picking the tool you can draw instantly…

  • no initial mesh necessary
  • the clay passes the way just like the tube-tool (invisible plane or an surface) but
  • the clay/mesh is visible instantly just like the brush-tool or a similar tool

SAMPLE SETUP 01 - FOR A NATURAL LOOKING 3D-STROKE

  • pressure sensitive: on
  • intensity: 100
  • falloff: circle
  • random scale: 20%
  • close option: mirrow
  • a non validated sketch-object remember its mirror plane

SAMPLE SETUP 02 - FOR WRITING 2.5D

  • intensity: 0 (close option: none (auto for 0))
  • random: 0
  • offset: 0.5 (relation to tool size
  • lazy rope: 0
  • stroke smoothing: 1

OTHER SETTINGS

  • resolution
  • dyntopo
  • auto-validate (if ‘on’ every stroke creates a new object)
  • smooth
