Using Background picture to light model is real fun. Just wish there would be a shadowcatcher material.

Nice design and detail.
Thank you Adam, it’s an old one. But I really do like the possibility to place an object into a background picture. This time I used a plane with blending and lower opacity to catch the shadow, instead of painting the shadow. Works in this dark environment quite well.
Getting better. Again a plane with blending mode and opacity on 0.55.
The light above the ship is nomad as well
Great work!
the moss in nomad too ?
A little bit. Water drops refraction material is not working without background though.
I blurred the moss a bit in Procreate. Put some SSS and some shadows & details.

Final again:
That’s soo cool!
@Genko3D Thanks so much. This is serious fun, so I needed to do another one.
Haha, great!
You’re inspiring me to do some shrooms too!
I gave it some love in Procreate.
Was it mentioned that Nomad is rendering a one pixel black outline when transparent background is checked?
Amazing topic. Love these!
That’s sweet. Thank you.
You are making some killer work, man!
Reading your words made me feeling so much better today. Thank you!
Made a bunch of quickies, but nothing decent.
Anyway, this is how I expected Procreate 5.2 would work:
One stroke art, so to say. Easy & fun.
I‘ll stay in Nomad then. Sketching is no prob as well
If we just would have an option to lock brush head rotation, we could do even more.
You’re one of a few artists I take inspirational direction and knowledge from Knacki, just wanted to share that appreciation my friend.
Completely done in Nomad.
We need animation features before Christmas
Pretty cool stuff!
