Regarding the refinement requirements of Tube tool-Profile-Spacing!

  1. When using the profile in the Tube tool, the minimum unit of Spacing will increase as the profile becomes larger, which is very unfavorable for fine control of cross-section modeling.
  2. In Profile, when there are many control points, multiple points cannot be moved at the same time.
  3. When there are too many Profile points on Tube, the entire Tube is easy to bend, and how to make it straight through constraints is also a problem.
    If the above three problems can be solved, Tube will be a more powerful and complete tool!

For point 3 in your list, try lowering the accuracy % when drawing a freehand curve. This reduces the number of points used to interpolate the curve, which makes the process easier.
