Ability to add a reference image or images that could help with 3d modeling
This feature actually already exists. Click the photo icon in the upper left and check the “reference image” checkbox and you can load a reference image into the viewport.

Ah never feel dumb my friend. This app just seems to have it all!

As the feature is nice, I think is still difficult to work with many reference images like (a front and a side one). You can still one image with all your references but then it’s quite hard to switch between them. It would be nice to be able to associate an image to a particular camera and to have an easy way to switch between the front/left/right/top/back/etc camera.
