Theres a weird red line on the thing i made, and painting over it doesnt get rid of it, i really want it gone
This is the symmetry line / plane, you can turn it off in the symmetry menu.
But you turned it on yourself !

Try adding a tube across it and making the tube the normal color, flatten it.
