Re-working Detail flow?

Here’s the scoop, I had a 2d drawing I did for a book series my son and I read, I tried sculpting in nomad starting with primitives and a pre set stylized model. This quickly became overwhelming and I probably just need to go through the learning curve of using the tools in nomad.
Enter Meshy ai. With a few tweaks turned out a pretty impressive model missing some intended details.

Back to nomad. I would like to start refining my model and I could use some solid direction and suggestions for creating sculpting tools that would help me get the detail back in this model. I’m also open to suggested work flows, I started right in with details, and giving that a second thought since details need to be in stages. I’m thinking crispy up the edges and define materials first, leather belt/buckle, arm bands, then hands feet and eyes, finally for texture and coloring final details.

Thank you for taking the time to help out with any insights you might have, sculpting, creating and animation have been a dream of mine since I was small. Excited to get into this finally as an adult.
