For some reason when I click the orange button ‘Unlock(purchase, restore Trial)’ nothing happens except the window just closes. Ive been on the exoside site and bought a license for nomad and been given a serial. Has anyone else managed to get it working within Nomad desktop?
Hmm I can’t replicate.
Normally a new app should open ("Quad Remesher license 1.4 activation).
I might have an idea but since it works fine for me I’m a bit in the dark.
Just in doubt, maybe you can try uninstalling and re-installing Nomad https://nomadsculpt.com/
If it doesn’t work I can send another build.
Hi ive just reinstalled an it’s now working. After i sent the first message I came across another post saying it might be because Rosetta wasnt installed. After installing Rosetta the button did work and I was able to enter my serial. it came up with a success message but for some reason the app didnt recognise change (still showed the buy button). anyway its sorted now after full reinstall. thanks for the fast response.
Ah yes it makes total sense.
The quad remesher plugin itself supports both silicon and intel processors.
I’m a bit surprised because I think MacOS is normally displaying a popup to tell you to install Rosetta, but I’m not sure how their whole UX is functioning.
But the initial Quad Remesher license manager popup thing is intel only.
I’ll tell Exoside about it.
