I don’t know if it’s intended but it’s possible already to sculpt when the turntable is turned on. This could be used for pottery like effects but also for a lot of other interesting things like screws or hair locks, or generally drawing wavy patterns on round objects.
Some ideas how this could be extended in case it gets “officially” supported:
- no stroke is registered a.t.m. when the pen is down but not moved
- pottery turntable could be activated in the normal (not full screen) view
- pottery turntable is around local Y axis of each object, not the camera interest
