Yes indeed I agree with you, the relief tends to fade when you use Subsurface :+1:

Oh yeah, you’re right.
But you could try to increase geometry offset factor in your details (scales) layer.
Or increase AO strenght.

Btw why do you texture in nomad instead of procreate?

Thank you, for this sculpture everything has been done in Nomad. Otherwise yes I sometimes use procreate but only to put my signature at the bottom and some micro retouching and finally Darkroom for post production. I do the painting in Nomad, the retopology with cozyblanket, then I cook the normal and painting afterwards but that if I switch to another lighttracer-type rendering engine, my goal is to show that the bridge already does a lot of things with a simple tablet. :call_me_hand::metal:
