'Nanomesh' style distribution of instances

Now that instances are a firm feature of Nomad would it be possible to add an additional distribution method into the mix at some point. In ZBrush instances in Nanomesh can be allocated to every polygon of an object - one per poly or a randomised clustering/scaling/rotation controlled with a few sliders.

This would be a nice feature but I reckon it’d need a % slider to allow partial distribution. I could inagine instant iPad death from an insert onto a 500K mesh, for example.
I’d love something like a brush insert method where you paint the objects onto the surface instead of dragging them out


Yes! A scatter/jitter brush with instance mode would be awesome too :+1:
