Is it possible to make it so when you use a brush on a layer it replaces what’s there (erases and replaces) instead of just adding to it?
(That way like the scales can overlap without building errors on top of each other.)
Also, would it be possible to pick a corner to create stamps rom instead of centered?
Another part of this request would be to have the image on screen being projected onto the model so you can paint impoverished the area to add the pattern. This could either have the pattern maintain scale to world or maintain scale to camera so it changes size based on zoom.
I’m almost sure that is not possible to have that kind of behaviour on a brush (erasing and replacing) BUT you could mask the scales as you work, that way they won’t be affected.
That’d have close enough to the same effect: preventing new work from placing over existing work!
So yea, create a mask as existing brush gets used!
