Yeah having the same issue on Debian and cachyos using lutris, wine, proton, etc. It appears to be using implemented api’s sadly.
I managed to get version 2.9.07 working on Lutris specifically using Ubuntu and wine ge/winetricks, I can’t update anything or else the program becomes unresponsive but that version at least works so long as you have winetricks turned on in Lutris
