Using the Instert Tool with an Instance. How can you press this? I’ve been trying in the Desktop and tablet (wacom moveink) version with no results. Don’t understand if it’s a touch function or how to activate it or if it has a shortcut. But the tool go away when I try to press it.
You are not supposed to change snap while inserting an instance.
To toggle transform mode just use the “tab” key.
Sorry @stephomi I don’t understand, when am I supposed to change snap? this is the only moment using the tool when snap buttom appears. I know for other versions that it will snap to normals or to other option. but the tool will no let me relase the click to change it. neither i can find options on the tool settings
Hmm I am not sure I get what you are trying to do, why are you trying to click on snap?
You didn’t explain what you want to achieve.
You toggle snap only through the “Transform” tool.
Or simply use the gizmo tool to move the object.
The point of Insert is to insert and then snap the object on surface.
Note that you can use your finger to toggle Snap (if your tablet support multi-input like the iPad) but even then it currently only works if you use the Transform tool directly (and not spawned from Insert)
@stephomi thank you for your time! it’s to toggle the function, I’m using the Desktop version - It works using the transform tool setting it before the insert. I was confuse by the interface, it suggest I can change it on the go, now I know that is for multitouch.
