I can't rotate the camera

I’m on windows 11 pro, Nomad 2.9.6. The problem is that I can’t navigate, rotating the camera.

Edit: Sculpting brushes don’t work also.

Glad im not the only one with this issue.
Clay brushes dont work in additive mode, only subtractive. No camera rotation.
Camera zoom using ALT + LMB + Release no longer works.

I thought i was going insane

Disable joystick in bindings advanced.

done… still not working

Something is seriously wrong with the latest update.
Happy to provide videos and do debugging if needed. I have keyboard shortcuts visualised so its easy to see whats being registered.
Let me know.

What’s being triggered in the bindings menu?

This is after reseting all the bindings. I don’t remember ctrl ever being set to zoom. I would normally alt + LMB + release LMB and drag to zoom.

Here’s a quick vid showing the clay brush not working, and the binding. Subtract works.

Edit: I’ve restarted the PC. No change.
Specs:
Win 11 25H2 26200.8037
9950x3D
128GB Ram
5090 (latest drivers)

I had the same issue. But after disabling the Joystick in the Bindings advanced the issue is fixed. I think this should be off by default as many new users might not find these helps in the forums.

Every time i uncheck this:

And restart the app… the check comes back

Wait… is sculpting and other stuffs working when you disable it?
Core of the issue is controller drifting (and option not being saved), but I need to know if it’s the only issue.

Not working, even if i disable it.

There are some weird things going on in the video, like scrolling for example (camera zooming, brush radius changing).

What’s your setup? Joystick, keychron, etc

I’ve got a 3dConnexion, which is always turned off when using nomad. A wacom tablet (currently off). A razer tartarus (not disabled). A wired mouse and an evo80 keyboard.
Let me disable and unplug everything except the mouse and KB, restart and see if that helps… brb

EDIT: Disabling and unplugging everything fixed all my issues!
This still gets re-enabled, but doesn’t seem to break anything

I’ll re-add devices and see what it was.
Thank you for helping, much appreciated.

I’ll update to 2.9.7 today and mark this issue as fixed.
If some issue persists simply answer in this thread.

Thank you. This works for me, but when I close the program and reopen it, I need to disable the joystick again. Looks like the change is not stored, otherwise so far I don’t see any problems.

Maybe try to updated, I’ve changed a few things.
