Anyone see any of these issues from the videos. Just downloaded latest version and seeing some strange glitches.
It looks like you got a device or something that sends lot of hotkeys.
(Mesh visibility, material picking, etc)
You can disable these in the bindings menu.
Are you on windows? Do you have some hotkey app installed, or something that could do that?
I have an xp-pen tablet with a remote and a Keychron keyboard.
Would any of those cause these issues?
Thank you for the quick feedback.
Graeme
I don’t know as I don’t have the issue.
But simply go to the bindings menus and look at the “visible on/off” hotkey (default key is H). If you see it highlighted regularly or if disabling it fixes the flicking then it’s an hint that something is sending an event (in that case you can unplug them one by one to pinpoint the culprit).
Ok. I will try that. Thank you!
Found it! It’s my 3D Connexion Space Mouse Pro that is causing the issue. Is there a workaround?
Configure it? I don’t think it’s a Nomad issue.
Just in case in bindings → advanced, you can check if joystick is disabled.
Yes. I tried that and no difference.
I randomly experience a similar issue, everything was working correctly yesterday (fresh install), today it’s glitchy as if some keys are stuck (this only happens in Nomad. I don’t see any keys being triggered in other programs including on-screen keyboards). in my case, the faulty bindings are [, ], 0-9, h, x .. once these bindings are disabled it works normally, if I reset the bindings it will glitch again.
I’m using win11 Pro 23H2 with a Huion Kamvas pro 27. also have a keychron keyboard and a couple of macro/hotkeys devices (but even when I unplug all keyboards and non-standard devices, the issue still occurs)

- I also notice that in the binding menu, my Left Mouse Button is recognized as
A(if I click in a hotkey slot with the left mouse, it will assignAto the selected function)
Pretty sure that’s keychron acting out, rather than the 3ds mouse connection.
I’m a bit surprised that it used to work earlier because I didn’t change the way Nomad handles the inputs.
I’ll see if more reports come in, for now I’m in the dark.
yes, the issue is very random for me : today I tried to reset all bindings using the menu and now it works flawlessly, LMB is lmb again and not A , all hotkeys work (still have the same setup, keychron keyboard etc…).
for now, I’m keeping a copy of bindings.json with all hotkeys disabled to switch to a workable config when the glitch occurs.
I’ll report back if I ever find a way to repro the issue consistently.
